Obituary of Thomas Pack

Thomas G. Pack age 83 of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Emerald- Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, surrounded by his family. He was a master carpenter and cabinet maker, retiring from the University of the South after 41 years of service. Thomas Pack was born January 15, 1930 to the late James Cecil, and Ella Parson Pack. He is also preceded in death by his 2 infant sons Mark and Edward Pack; three sisters, and five brothers. Survivors include his loving wife Ann Elizabeth Pack; daughters and son-in-laws Rita (Joe) Milner, and Jan (David) Smith; four grandchildren April (Chris) Gipson, Kyle Caldwell, Joseph Milner (Brooke), and Bradley Caldwell; one great-grandson Mason Milner; brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 13, 2013 in chapel of Cumberland Funeral Home with Brother James Taylor and Pastor Robert Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery Sewanee, Tennessee. The family will receive friends 5:00-9:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
