Obituary of Nancy Gilliam

Mrs. Nancy M. Gilliam age 79 of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. She was born in Sewanee, a daughter of the late Fred O. Hughes and Maude Garner Hughes and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Gilliam; sons, Danny Gilliam and Marshall Gilliam.
She is survived by her sons, Robert "Bobby" Gilliam and Kevin D. Gilliam both of Sewanee; brothers, Fred O. Hughes, Jr. of Cowan and Thomas Henry "Bo Bo" Hughes of Monteagle; sister, Teresa Holt of Decherd; 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for family and friends will be 5:00 P.M. Friday, April 5 at Eastern Star Cemetery in Sewanee with Minister Mickey Henley officiating. The family asks that memorials be made to one's favorite charity in memory of Nancy. On line condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
