Mrs. Mildred Ann Smith age 78 of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her late husband, George Alex Smith and Ex-Husband Charles D. Knott; brothers, Vernon, Raymond and Jerry Gass. Survivors include his daughters, Wanda (Lawrence) Cheston, Sewanee, TN; Debra (Don) Williams, McMinnville, TN; grandchildren, Wendy (Steve) Fugate, Kalona, Iowa; Linday Roberts, Sewanee, TN; Hillary Cheston, Sewanee, TN; Jason Worley, Tracy City, TN; sister, Polly Carpenter, Sewanee, TN; nephew, Tim Carpenter. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, March 15, 2013 in the Cumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Elizabeth officiating. Burial Will be in Warren Cemetery, Pelham, Tennessee. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 P.M. Funeral arrangements are made by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Ave., Monteagle, TN 37356 (931)924-2381.
