Obituary of Paul Parks

Mr. Paul K. Parks age 85 of Pelham, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his home. He was a son of the late Fred A. Parks and Grace Payne Parks and was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Parks; wife, Willie Mae Parks; second wife, Abbie Layne Parks. Mr. Parks was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Roy Swisher of Franklin, KY; step-sons, Allan, Danny and Russell Layne all of Tracy City.; brother, Fred B. "Pink" (Billie) Parks, Monteagle; sister, Tommye Dugger, Antioch, TN; grandchildren, Thanh, Ben and Rachel; great grandchildren, Prah, Cailynn and Kai; nephews, Terry and Danny Parks; nieces, Peggy Alsup and Robin Bailey. Funeral services will be 3:30 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Robert Cain and family members will officiate. Burial will be in the Parks Family Cemetery (Warren Cemetery) in Pelham with full military honors provided by Sequatchie Valley Honor Guard.
