Obituary of Clifford Dykes

Mr. Clifford Eugene Dykes age 88 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Monday, December 10, 2012, at The Bridge in Monteagle. Mr. Dykes was a farmer and had been a coalminer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Dykes and Hallie Sanders Dykes; wife, Byrtle Dykes; brothers, Alf & Lonnie Dykes; sisters, Edna Roberts and Elsie Orange.
Survivors include his children, Opal and her husband Sonny Meeks of Coalmont, Dennis and his wife, Debbie Dykes of Tracy City; brothers, Benny, Charles, Ray and Tiny Dykes all of Tracy City; grandchildren, Jeff and Jason Meeks, Chris and Heather Dykes; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Larry Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Gregg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
