Troy Neal Gilliam, II age 26 of Monteagle passed away Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. He was a carpenter and was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bud Gilliam and Johnsie Gilliam; maternal grandfather, Benny Edwards.
He is survived by his wife, Candice Gilliam and his children, Trevor Neal, Lexie LaShea, Jesse Ashton and Justin Lee Gilliam; father, Troy Gilliam, Monteagle; mother, Cora Bridges, Tracy City; brothers and sisters, Crissy Bridges, Tracy City, Katelyn Guyear, Monteagle, Brian Crisp, Coalmont, Noah Gilliam, Rossville, GA, Nikkie Carter and Blake Carter both of Monteagle; maternal grandmother, Rosa Edwards, Tracy City; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Ministers Ralph Shrum and Albert Nunley officiating. Burial will be in Orange Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday 4-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
