Mr. Carl E. Brewer, Jr. age 49, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Friday, September 21, 2012, in Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. He was a pipe fitter by profession and was preceded in death by his brothers, Jason and Joshua Long.
Survivors include his mother, Billie Van Geary of Tracy City; father, Carl E. Brewer, Sr. of Palmer; step-sons, Josh and Steven Medley of Manchester; brother, Van Brewer of Monteagle, Robby Long of Tracy City and Hershel Brewer of Chattanooga; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were 3:00 Sunday in the Foster & Lay Funeral Home Chapel. Ministers James Caldwell and Clayton Jones officiated. Burial was in the City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Russell Owens, Obediah Sanders, Terriel Coulter, Thomas Anderson, Tim Anderson and Rhino; honorary pallbearers were Chrin Cumming, Shane Miller, Chad Littleton and Robin Nunley. Special music was provided by Kenny Barrett Sr. and Kenny Barrett,Jr. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
