Obituary of Ellen Campbell

Miss Ellen Campbell age 88 went hme to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 8, 2012, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. She was born March 27, 1924 to Everett C. and Lela Woodlee Campbell of the Freemont community. She was a Christian, she loved to cook and had retired from the Grundy County Board of Education where she proudly fed the children, faculty & staff at Coalmont Elementary School for over 25 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Carrie Sanders, Pete Campbell, Ida Campbell, Velma Campbell, Floyd Campbell and Paul Campbell; infant siblings, Everett Jr., Raymond, Buford and a sister. Survivors include her sister, Katherine Nunley of Coalmont and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Clayton Jones officiating. Burial will be in Bonny Oaks Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday 4-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
