Obituary of James Pickett Jr.

James Lloyd Pickett Jr. (Jamey) age 47 of Chapmansboro, Tennessee went home to be with the Lord on August 26, 2012 at his residence. Jamie was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend. He was a gifted carpenter, excelling in the art of cabinetry. He will be remembered for his warm heart and contagious smile. He is preceded in death by his brothers Samuel Keith (Sammy) Pickett, and William Bert (Billy) Pickett; step-father Bill Stewart; grand parents Frank William Ogelvie, Bert Pickett, and Jeanetta Couch. Survivors left to cherish his memory include his mother Janie Stewart of Monteagle; father and step-mother James (J.L.) Pickett Sr. and Debra Pickett of Chapmansboro. Sisters Lisa (Tony) Gilliam, Wendy Woodside (Jack Watts), and Christina (Bryan) West; brother James Sanders; grandmother Essie Ogelvie; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Ben Curtis, and Reverend Barry Raper will officiate. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery.
