Mr. Edward "Duxie" Campbell age 76 of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Wednesday evening, Feb. 2, 2011, in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee with his family by his bedside. He was retired from construction, building bridges and road projects. "Duxie" was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Campbell and Della Nunley Campbell; son, Lannie Campbell; brothers, J.C. and Check Campbell; sister, Anita Campbell.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Naomi Campbell; son, Shawn (Stacey) Campbell; daughters, Len Campbell, Renea (Richard) Oliver all of Tracy City, Brandy Cunningham, Monteagle;,6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday in the funeral home chapel. The Reverend Freddie Savage and Reverend Mike Rigsby will officiate. Burial will be in Clouse Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday 5-9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Foster & Lay Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee, 931-592-3691.
