Mr. John Aaron Sargent age 70 of Altamont, Tennessee passed away Friday, July 27, 2012, at Extended Family Care in Manchester. He served in the U.S. Army, and was a retired truck driver. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Aaron, and Bertha Mae Sargent.
Survivors include his children Amanda and her husband Dustin Barrett, and Krystal Williams; brothers Joseph E. Sargent, Jess Sargent, Sam Sargent, and Jim Sargent, Carol Cope; sister, Lucille Neeley; grandchildren Mallory Northcutt Barrett, Ashlyn Hicks, Kaylin Barrett, and Saul Barrett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 29, 2012 in the chapel of Foster & Lay Funeral Home. Pastor Micah Roberts will officiate. Interment will be in Lappin Cemetery Monteagle, TN. The family will receive friends 3:00 - 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.fosterlayfuneralhome.net.
