Mrs. Johnnie McCormick Charles Elliott age 94 of Tracy City went to be with the Lord on July 19, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her loving husbands Mr. Joe Charles, and Mr. James Elliott; her parents Bransford and Mary Elizabeth McCormick. Survivors include her children Myrna (Pat) Nesbit of Tracy City, TN, Judy Parmley of Marietta, GA, Nickie (Louis) Garner of Chattanooga, TN, and Leslie Charles of Tracy City, TN; brothers Clifford McCormick, and Paul McCormick; sisters Adalene Cole, Frances Hall, and Doris Winton; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great- grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 21, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with The Reverend Dr. Linda A. Hutton officiating. Committal services will follow at Plainview Cemetery, Tracy City, Tennessee with Reverend Ray Winton officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
