Mr. James Leon Knight age 59 of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. He was a retired welder and was preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Nancy Caldwell of Sewanee; father, Merit Knight of North Carolina.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Haney Knight, Sewanee; son, James Leon Knight and his wife Amanda of Sewanee; daughters, Patricia Knight and Stephanie Barnes both of Sewanee; mother, Elsie Edwards, Sewanee; grandchildren, Nora and Noah Barnes, Calem Knight, Dixie and Daisy Knight all of Sewanee; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 7:00 P.M. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of services. Mr. Knight's wishes were for his body to be cremated and his ashes scattered.
