James Rickey Meeks Sr. age 50 of Tracy City passed away on June 12, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Meeks was of the Methodist faith. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharron K. White; father James Malcolm Meeks; and his great-niece Jacey Dixon. Survivors include his son James Rickey Meeks Jr.; his mother Mrs. Josephine Meeks; brother Stephen Lee Meeks Sr.; niece Stephanie Dixon; nephew Stephen Lee Meeks Jr.; great-nieces and nephew Jacob, Alia, and Brilee Dixon; caregivers Delbert Ladd, and Brigitte Scott; and a host of cousins and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 14, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Reverend Bobby Winton will officiate. Burial will be in Pryor Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
