Obituary of Gladys Oliver

Mrs. Gladys Oliver age 89 of Monteagle, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on June 10, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Mrs Oliver was a member of Monteagle First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Melvin Oliver; parents Jeff and Bunia Nunley; a daughter Nellena Cantrell and 20 brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children Robert Oliver, and Joan (Johnny Ray) Smith; Grandchildren Joni Reese, and Judith Byers; sister Bunia Gilliam; 3 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Daryll Smiley officiating. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
