Wilma Mae Layne, age 89, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Lewis Layne, Sr.; parents, Hugh Allen Haynes and Gladys King Haynes; grandson, Trenton & Tristan Layne, Kelsey Freeze, Tony Guyear. Survivors include her son, Homer Lewis Layne, Jr., Tracy City, TN; Daughters, Rita D. Tompson, Tracy City, TN; Faye Henley, Pelham, TN; Sherry Dean Harris, Manchester, TN; Joyce M. Jacobs, Manchester, TN; Freda Ann Layne, Coalmont, TN; 15 Grandchildren, and 38 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Larry Layne officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery.
