Obituary of Michael "Mike" Cannon

Michael Howard "Mike" Cannon age 60 of Monteagle passed away Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2011 in Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Martha Burnett Cannon.
Mike loved life, telling stories and talking with his friends, he played & sang in a band with friends and his sister, Cheri. For many years he operated an auto detail shop in Monteagle before moving to Chattanooga and working at Planters. Survivors include his sons, Shane and Brandon Cannon; sister, Cheri (Ronnie) Thomas all of Monteagle; grandchildren, Draven Wade Hobbs and Brandon Howard Cannon; special family friends, Winkle Burnett and Rose Stevens.
A memorial service will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home.Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee 37356, 931-924-2381.
