Mr. Albert McKinley Russell, Sr. age 77 of Monteagle, Tennessee passed away Thursday, April 26, 2012, at his home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and had retired from Carrier Air Conditioning in Morrison. Mr. Russell was born in Whitwell, TN a son of the late Emmett Lee Russell and Blanche Mildred Way Russell and he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Lee Russell; brothers, William Russell and Ned Russell.
Survivors include his children, Jim Russell, Huntsville, AL, Mildred Russell, Atlanta, GA and Albert Russell, Jr., Monteagle.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery with military honors. Visitation: 4-9 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
