Mrs. Edna Irene Baker age 81 passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Golden Living Center in Winchester, Tennessee. Mrs. Baker was a long time employee of Emerald-Hodgson Hospital in Sewanee and was preceded in death by her husband Robert Baker; parents Jake and Ruby Harris Kilgore; son James Robert Baker and granddaughter Ashley Leeann Byers.
Survivors include her children, Robin Byers and Linda (Michael) Glascoe; grandchildren Brooke Foster, Jonathan Byers and Robert Byers; great-grandchild Jacob Byers; brother Rodger Dale Kilgore and sister Betty Jean Walker.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Virgil McNeese officiating. Burial will be in Burns Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends 5-9 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
