Obituary of Glenda Mankin

Glenda Stewart Mankin, age 73, of Monteagle Tn, passed away peacefully at home on August 20th, 2023. She was born October 5th, 1949 in The Fiery Gizzard. She worked in the service industry for many years before retiring to enjoy her flower gardens and family. She is preceded in death by her mother Eliza Smith, son Jack Mankin, husband Jackie “Moose” Mankin, and brothers Bill, Jimmy, and Bobby Dean. She is survived by her Daughter, Fiff Mankin (Frank Horton); Granddaughters, Patricia (Chris) Sanspree and Phoebe (Aaron) Ferguson; Grandson, Glenn (Lauren) Horton; Great-grandchildren, Marco “Bug” Hodshire Jr and Aden & Aven Sanspree; Sister-in-law, Joann (John) Simpson; and good friend, “Laughing” Tammy Smith. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, 8/26/2023 at 2pm at Cumberland Funeral Home with visitation starting at 1pm until time of service.
