Michael Eugene Thomas, age 51, of Monteagle, TN, passed away August 14, 2023. He was born on February 4, 1971, to James “Buddy” and Patricia Myers Thomas. He is preceded in death by his father, James “Buddy” Thomas and his brother, Jason “Skinny” Thomas.
Michael enjoyed doing carpentry work and he loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his mother, Patricia Thomas; brother, James “Fuji” Thomas; sister-in-law, Stacey Melton; nephews, Greg (Candace) Melton, Colby (Abby) Melton, Weston Melton and Jaxon Melton; and niece, Aurora Melton.
A funeral service will be Friday, August 18, 2023 at 3 PM with Bro. Paul Tittle officiating. There will be a period of visitation with the family at 11 AM until the time of service.
Burial will be Monday, August 21, 2023, at 10 AM at Summerfield Cemetery.
