Alvin Monroe Harris, age 71, of Sequatchie, TN, passed away August 14, 2023. He was born on June 16, 1952, to the late Rank Harris and Melba Leona Harris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, John D. Harris.
Alvin liked trading cars, guns, and knives. He also loved antiques.
He is survived by his son, Paul Monroe Harris; daughters, Mea Dawn Sanders and Tammy Johnson; grandchildren, Damion Raydale Sanders, Damariss Rae Sanders, Christopher Handing, Tiffany Handing, Hailey Handing, and Bailey Handing; great-grandchild, Jaxton River Sanders and one on the way; and sisters, Judy (Phillip) Griffith, Ethel Lynn (Freeland) Cannon, and Jeanette Gibbs.
No services are scheduled at this time as his wishes were to be cremated.
