Obituary of Katherine "Kathy" Ann Smith

Katherine “Kathy” Ann Smith, age 81, of Pelham, TN, passed away August 10, 2023. She was born on March 23, 1942, to the late Raymond and Helena Henley Smith. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, David Smith; son, Russell Smith; and brothers, Stevie Smith and Roger Smith. Kathy loved to shop and was an amazing chef. She was always doing something for her family, whether it was teaching her kids how to play baseball, taking them to practices, working the concession stand, or just taking care of her parents. She always kept herself busy. She is survived by her sons, Ricky (Chauncey) Smith and David Troy (Rhonda) Smith; grandchildren, Katie, Ethan, Tori, Lyric, Kenneth, Jarrel, Jada, and Jasmine; great-grandchildren, Emily, Allie, Zoey, and Helena; brothers, Billy Smith and Lawrence “Peanut” Smith; and sisters, Raylene (Rooster) Frassrand and June Meeks. Graveside Services will be held Monday, August 14, 2023, at Warren Cemetery at 2:00 P.M with Randall Goodman officiating.
