My dear cousin,Jason Allen Thomas,was an adventurous person.He had many hobbies he enjoyed.He was the truest person who had ownership of his very own personality,values,outlook on life,he had his own personal survival skills and zest for life with the feeling to thrive in everyway he could.When needed he was always there to lend a hand without hesitation. I've many memories with him growing up at which I take pride in.He was not just a cousin in my life.As children he use to follow me everywhere even sneaking from the old pipelines to our grandma's raspberrie bushes..He couldn't pronounce my name Kimberley as he always called me,Kimber-nee! I can just hear him now saying,"Wait on me Kimber-nee!"As a child he had a most precious face,smile and unforgettable laughter.I can't go back now and tell him I love him. Between he and I it was always understood that in our hearts and we both knew where each other was if needed.His fight to survive through his last years brought about extreme struggles and much pain but he maintained his courageousness,
strength and bravery.Within himself I know there was fear and pain but he always had compassion.When my father passed away I called upon him and his generosity knocked on the door with big flat pans of assorted breakfast biscuits for everyone.He lived his own way of life spreading himself far and wide.I will always remember him from our childhood memories and the joy he filled my heart with.As children he looked up to me and now it's my turn to look up at him with tear filled eyes and say I love you! We are both going the same place, you just beat me there!Rest in peace now.Wear your wings trimmed in gold as you paid your dues and you've earned your wings. Fly high and proud.As I see beautiful images in the sky I will know it's you shinning down upon us. Forever loved and missed.
