Obituary of Jacob "Jake" Dewayne Anderson

Jacob “Jake” Dewayne Anderson, age 26, passed away suddenly on Sunday, July 23, 2023. He was born on July 16, 1997, to Tina Michelle Meadows and the late Jerry Don Anderson. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Justin Anderson; grandparents, David and Nanny Linda Anderson and Lloyd Ray Meadows; uncle, George Meadows; and cousin, Skyler Copeland. Jacob loved to go fishing, ride ATV’s, and hike. He enjoyed playing basketball, playing video games, and hunting. He especially loved being around his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Tina Michelle Meadows; brother, Cody Anderson; grandmother, Ida Mae (Lloyd Ray) Meadows; aunts, Jamie (Jason) Copeland, Amanda Meadows, Kathy Anderson, Crystal Anderson, and Tasha Campbell; uncle, David Anderson; along with many cousins, family members and friends. The Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 27, 2023, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 3:00 PM with Bro. Bobby Winton officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, from 12-9 PM.
