Tom was a colleague at Gresham Smith and friend. I worked with him for years and always appreciated his insight about work and outside work issues. I included a photo from circa 2001 at Danford's Marina in Port Jefferson, Long Island New York. We were visiting a dialysis clinic we designed for DCI in StonyBrook. It is not only a great picture of him, but a reminder that his fingerprints are all over this nation of healthcare facilities that he detailed to make life better for patients and that legacy continues even after he is gone. I will miss him.

Mr Taylor and Rachel have been family to me since I was in Kindergarten. I think I spent more time at their house all through high school and after than I did at my own. He’s been my second dad.. especially after losing my own. He's always opened his home to me when I’d come back to visit since moving away from Tennessee. It will definitely never be the same without him. You will be so very missed Mr Taylor!

Mr. Thomas Taylor in my eyes was a respectable man, honorable, straightforward, & very kind. He taught me to always care for your family & never doubt yourself. A man stays strong. When me & my girlfriend at the time were near homelessness he & his daughter Rachel welcomed us with open arms. I’ll miss his firm, strong pats on the back after discussing life & his good soups. A true father figure in my eyes & he’ll be dearly miss. Love you like a father & may you rest in peace.
