Obituary of Mary Ann Phillips

Please share a memory of Mary to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Mary Ann Phillips, age 74, passed away April 10, 2023. She was born in Manchester, New Hampshire to the late Henry L. and Elizabeth Conway Morin. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of over 20 years, DeVaughn Phillips; infant brother, Michael Morin and brother, Henry Morin; mother-in-law, Helen Phillips Spencer; and brother-in-law, Gary Phillips. Mary worked at Granite State Telephone and retired from there after 30 years. Since retiring, she lived in Virginia and then the Florida Keys with her niece, Kathy and Billy Beagle and really enjoyed her time with them. She finally settled in Tennessee where she always wanted to retire and spend her golden years. She loved living at the Cedar Ridge Apartments and had many friends who she loved there. Although she never had any children of her own, she was very loving and good to her nieces and nephews. She was a very friendly person who never met a stranger, had a good sense of humor, loved smoking her cigarettes and taking walks in nature. She is survived by her sister, Robbin Clark; brother, James (Jan) Morin; sister-in-law, Joyce Morin; sister-in-law, Susan Phillips Hamilton (Rob); and many nieces and nephews. No services are scheduled at this time as her wishes were to be cremated. She will be buried in Virginia next to her husband at a later time.
