Then I'll go sweeping up to Glory to see His blessed face Where rivers of delight shall ever roll He's the lily of the valley, He's the bright and morning star He's the fairest of ten thousand to my soul… One of many songs I loved to hear her sing , Willie Mae had such a beautiful voice. She had a heart of gold , loved the Lord and loved people, she always looked for the good in everyone. I have many, many memories that I will treasure always , but June 1, 1988 will be my most valued, as she called it “My Best Day”, the day I got saved, she knew I was feeling down and knew where I needed to be. Go Rest High on that Mountain.

Willie Mae Nunley was a special lady and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. She was my Sunday school teacher when I was a little girl and a precious friend as I grew up. She was like a Moma , grandmother, sister and friend. God blessed us with her smile, beautiful voice and wonderful prayers but he gave her wings and took her home to join her family members who have gone before her. They are now singing God's praise together with his amazing grace. We will see her again in Heaven and praise God together. Thank you Lord for blessing us with her love and prayers. Until we meet again rest in peace with God Willie Mae and we love ❤ you. Vicky D Watwood.

Willie Mae was one of the greats! She would welcome all in her home and feed them and treat them as they were her own! I have so many memories in her kitchen and living room and front porch. I feel privileged to have made a friendship with her and so much I’ve learned from her. She will be missed and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family
