Obituary of Beverly Sue Rollins

Beverly Sue Rollins, age 68, passed away February 22, 2023. She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on August 24, 1954, to the late Joseph M. Bennett Sr. and Hershalina V. McBee Bennett. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph M. Bennett Jr. and a sister, Sandy King. Beverly was known to many as the “Porch Lady”. She liked to read, work puzzles, and play cards. She is survived by her husband, Vernon E. Rollins; sons, Melvin (Karen) Rollins and Tommy Rollins; grandson, Charlie Rollins; brother, Keith Bennett; sisters, Janice (David) Haney, Cheryl Wilkinson, Frances Bennett, Julia (Jack) Champion, and Caroline Bennett; aunts, Judy Copeland, Linda Stanley, and Carol Davidson; uncles, John P. Bennett and Raymond McBee; many nieces and nephews; and best friends, Mary Ann Byers, Peggy King and Jackie Ladd Sr. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 4 PM.
