Mr. Michael Shayne Guess, age 49, of New Orleans, passed away January 4, 2023, in New Orleans. He was born in Cumberland Heights, TN on August 1, 1973, to Jerry Wayne Guess and Deborah Norwood Henley.
He was an artist who loved making pottery, gardening, cooking, caring for his animals and loving nature.
Michael is survived by his mother, Deborah & Pat Henley of Calabash NC; brother, Steven & Lyndi Guess of Little River SC; sister, Jessica & Brett Thomaswick of Carolina Shores NC; 3 nephews Hunter, Zakari, & Robbie Guess, 1 niece Zora Kate Thomaswick along with many friends and family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Guess and his brother, Jeffrey ( Bo ) Guess.
Cumberland Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
