Anna Ruth Green, age 66, of Palmer, Tennessee, passed away February 5, 2023. She was born December 7, 1956, to the late James “Buzz” and Stella Lucille Seagroves McDaniel. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sons, Jimmy McDaniel and Jeffrey Byrd; daughter, Rose McDaniel; grandsons, Jason Worley and Dillon Byrd; son-in-law, Barry Grooms; and siblings, James, Paul, Glenn, Charles, Nadine, and Peggy McDaniel, and Nancy Sykes.
Anna loved spending time with her grandkids. She enjoyed cookouts and playing bingo and checkers.
She is survived by her husband, Walter Lee Green Sr.; daughters, April (Thomas) McHone, Christie (Jamie Nunley) Grooms, and Tammy (Timmy Hammers) Byrd; grandchildren, Christopher Byrd, Timothy Hammers III, Samantha McHone, Thomas (Mattie Wooten)McHone Jr., Isaiah McHone, Andrea Long, James (Elizabeth) McDaniel, David Earl Grooms, Slater Grooms, Brandon (Kyra) Grooms, Dwayne Grooms, Brandy Grooms, Braxton McDaniel, Jayden White, Estella Byrd, Jacob Byrd, Samuel Brock, Olivia Watson, Mason Byrd, Colton Knight, and Joshua White; great grandchildren, Jace McHone, Jacob Alexander Jr., Houston McDaniel, Bentley McDaniel, Landon Grooms, Junior and Brea Anderson, and two on the way, Aurora Rose McDaniel and Neveah McClendon; and many nieces and nephews.
