Obituary of Eva Jeanne Stockton

Eva Jeanne Stockton, age 74, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She was born June 25, 1948, to the late James Allen and Eva Edna Magouirk Meeks. Eva was a member of Living Water Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to church. She was the most selfless person and was always putting everyone else first. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Living Water Church, P.O. Box 224, Tracy City, TN 37387. She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Stockton; son, Randy (Chris) Stockton; daughter, Stacy Stockton; grandchildren, Michael Stockton, Ashley Smith, Rebecca Stockton, and J.D. O’Dear; brothers, Jimmy Meeks, Bruce (Tammi) Meeks, and James (Bertha) Meeks; nieces and nephews, Alan Meeks, Becky Meeks, Anthony Meeks, Patrick Meeks, and Mason Meeks. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 11:00 AM with Bro. Ralph Shrum officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. A visitation with the family will begin at 9:00 AM until the time of service.
