Obituary of Norman L Davis

Norman Davis, age 86, passed away January 12, 2023. He
was a volunteer Sewanee soccer coach for many years and it
brought joy to his life. He made many good friends throughout
the years and loved the men he coached. He especially
valued the friendship of Tony Pacella, head soccer coach and
Luc Patberg, assistant coach.
Norm graduated from Earlham College and spent his working
career in commercial construction and signage. He leaves
behind his wife, Shirley, sons, John, Tom (Katherine), five
grandchildren Zander (Savannah), Jackson, Ben, Brady,
Cates and a myriad of friends both in Monteagle and
Sewanee.
A memorial service will be held at a future date. Any donations
may be sent to the Sewanee YSR fund, Sewanee Men's
Soccer program in memory of Coach Norm.
