Obituary of Rachel Marie Anderson

Rachel Marie Anderson, age 76, of Bon Aqua, Tennessee, passed away January 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tracy City on April 14, 1946, to William and Evelyn Nunley. Rachel loved to sing, play the piano and the guitar. She collected dolls and especially enjoyed collecting lighthouses. Her greatest joy in life was her family and telling people about Jesus. Rachel is preceded in death by her father, William Nunley; husband, Roger Anderson; son, Roger “Flea” Anderson; and granddaughters, Rachel Rollins and Deanna Rollins. She is survived by her mother, Evelyn Nunley; sons, Shawn (Wendy) Anderson and Tim Rollins; grandchildren, Ashley Anderson, Grant Anderson, Brittany Sanders, Taylor Davidson, Nathan Davidson, Grace (Derek) Proctor, Leah Anderson, and Emilee Anderson; great grandchildren, Aiden Anderson, Jackson Seal, Justin Thomas, and Carson Goins; brothers, Bobby (Natalie) Nunley and Joe (Kim) Nunley; sisters, Ethylene (Franklin) Hill, Mary (David) Fox, Imogene (Clinton) Barnes, and Rhonda (Mark) Deal; and many nieces and nephews. The Graveside Service will be Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Plainview Cemetery in Tracy City at 1 PM with Bro. Franklin Hill officiating. A visitation with the family will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City from 9 AM until 12:45 PM.
