Juanita Brock, age 87, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away January 6, 2023. She was born April 12, 1935, to the late William Arthur and Irene Taylor Shell at home in Signal Mountain, Tennessee. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Brock; sons, Tim Keener, Teddy Keener, and Troy Keener; and brothers, J.D. Shell, James Shell, and Charles Shell. Juanita loved planting and working in her garden. She enjoyed growing flowers, fishing, cookouts, sitting on the porch watching the sun set, and loved going to flea markets and antique stores. She was always involved in her church and would read her bible often. When she was younger, she would sing at festivals with her husband. Juanita is survived by her sons, Tommy (Rosemary) Keener and Terry Keener; sisters, Dot Nunley and Amy Pullum; grandchildren, Eric (Sheila) Keener, Nakee Pichot, and Nakisha (Eric) Keener-Bundy; great grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, Nick, Brody, Britt, Jason, Leann, Matthew, Walter, Jonathan, and Heidi; great-great grandchildren, Naomi and Bodie; and numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be Monday, January 9, 2023, at Pryor Ridge Church in Tracy City at 1 PM (CST) with Bro. Bobby Winton officiating. Burial will follow at Pryor Ridge Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home on Sunday, from 2-8 PM (CST).
