Arnold Lee “Fats” Dixon Sr., age 89, passed away November 19, 2022. He was born August 30, 1933, to the late Hugh “Buck” Dixon and Orphene Roberts. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Dixon; sons, Donnie, Allen and Terry Dixon; grandchildren, Amy Watkins, Kenny Dixon and Jacey Dixon; brothers, Newt Dixon, Jim Roberts and Sam Roberts; sister, Judy Roberts; and daughter-in-law, Dusty Dixon.
Fats was a member of Pryor Ridge Church. He was a Godly man and loved to go to church. He loved to work and enjoyed helping people.
He is survived by his children, Sandra (Bill) Wallin, Arnold Dixon Jr., Carolyn (Bobby) Farr, Michael Dixon, Cindy (Hershell) McDowell, Jennie (Russell) Meeks, Tony (Nicole) Dixon, and Eddie (Stephanie) Dixon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and was loved by many in-laws.
Funeral arrangements are Saturday, December 10, 2022, at Pryor Ridge Church at 2 PM with Bros. Bobby Winton and Jimbo Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Pryor Ridge Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, December 9, 2022 from 5 - 9 PM at Pryor Ridge Church.
