Obituary of Deborah Sue Scissom

Deborah Sue Scissom, age 69, of Coalmont, Tennessee, passed away November 15, 2022. She was born August 20, 1953, to William Duke and Mary Sue “Corene” Campbell Brown. She is preceded in death by her father, William Duke Brown and her sister, Diane Brown. Deborah enjoyed making crafts of any kind and loved life and especially loved being with her family. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Scissom; son, Brent (April) Anderson; daughter, Devona Layne; grandchildren, Maci and Cullen Anderson, JoLeigh (Cameron) Johnson, and Devan Layne; great grandchild, Tucker Johnson; mother, Corene Brown; and sister, Wanda McDaniel. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Coalmont Cemetery with Dr. Clayton Jones officiating. A visitation with the family will be from 12 until 1:30 when we will be leaving the funeral home for the Graveside Service at 2 P.M. at Coalmont Cemetery.
