Albert "Jack" Thompson, age 83, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away on November 4, 2022. Jack was born on January 11, 1939 in Tracy City, Tennessee to the late Fritz and Lula Thompson. He is also preceded in death by his wife Rita Thompson, daughter Ginger Jordan, and granddaughter Wendy Scissom.
Jack was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and retired from Arnold Airforce base (AEDC). He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of the Fiery Gizzard Sportman's Club.
He is survived by his daughters; Donna Jordan of Cowan, TN, Jill D'arcey (Thompson) and her husband Shaun of Azle, TX, grandchildren; Brandon Jordan, Linsay Sain (Floyd) and husband Andrew, Beth Irbin (Scissom), Travis D'Arcey and wife Stephanie, and Shannon D'Arcey, great grandchildren; Brayden Jordan, and Daeson Irbin.
A Graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at City Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee with Bro. Ralph Shrum officiating.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 6-9 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home, Foster and Lay Chapel.
