Obituary of Paula Jean Bishop

Paula Jean Bishop, age 52, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. Paula was born on December 29, 1969 in Fort Thomas, KY to Paul Nelson and Jocelyn B Fultz Dykes. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jocelyn Fultz Dykes; husband, Edwin Bishop; and brothers, David and Wayne Dykes. Paula was affiliated with the First Baptist Church of Tracy City and Grace Village Methodist Church of Flat Branch. She loved spending time with her family, especially getting to go on outings with them. She enjoyed watching wrestling, and collecting wrestlers and clowns. She also participated in the Special Olympics. Paula always took pride in her appearance, she loved coloring her hair and everywhere she went, she dressed to the nines. Paula is survived by her dad, Paul Nelson Dykes; sister/cousin, Melanie Church; sisters, Lisa Tate Windom and April Meeks; brother, Thomas Jamison Dykes; Aunt "Dene" Moore; aunts, Portia Phillips and Vickie Traylor; uncle, Mark Fultz; special friend and caregiver Jacqueline Fults and all the caregivers at the Meeks Home and numerous cousins and friends. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Cumberland Funeral Home, Tracy City, Tennessee with Bro. Daniel Phillips officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00 A.M. till time of service on Saturday.
