Dr. Jacqueline Thibault Schaefer, age 92, of Sewanee, passed away on October 19, 2022, in Nashville. She was born April 5, 1930, in Caen, France to Emile Thibault and Denise Feuillet who preceded her in death.
Dr. Schaefer was a professor at University of the South, teaching French and Comparative Literature.
She is survived by her son, Marc (Laura Pascarelli) Schaefer.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Schaefer.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, October 29th, 2022 at All Saints Chapel in Sewanee, Tennessee at 11:00 A.M.
