Obituary of Bobby Lynn Smartt

Bobby Lynn Smartt, age 64, of Tracy City, Tennessee passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. Bobby was born in Altamont, Tennessee on November 12, 1957, to Vernon and Janice Smartt. He is preceded in death by his dad Vernon Smartt, stepdad Bill Smartt, grandparents Columbus and Katherine Trazi, and sister Kathy Fredrick. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, bass fishing, feeding the deer, wildlife, racing dirt bikes, riding his motorcycle, and even just being outside shining up his vehicles. Most important Bobby was a loving and caring Family man who enjoyed speeding time with the ones he loved especially his grandson. He is survived by his wife Dee Dee Smart, daughter April (Ethan) Dykes, mother Janice Smartt, brother Michael Smartt, sisters; Renee Reid (Ricky McDaniel), and Fonda Geary, and grandson William Dykes, along with several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 24, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. With brother Terry Winton officiating, burial will immediately follow at Plainview Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be on Sunday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee.
