Mrs. Irene Mildred Gipson age 89 passed away Friday evening, February 3, 2012, at her daughter's home in Estill Springs. Mrs. Gipson was a long time resident of Monteagle before moving to Estill Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Gipson; mother, Dollie Henley; brother, Claburn Henley; grandson, Kevin Gipson.
Survivors include her children, Mildred (Richard) Branch, Estill Springs, Jackie (Don) Crownover, Winchester, Jimmy Gary (Karen) Gipson, Monteagle, Donna (Floyd) Gibbs, Estill Springs, Bill (Jean) Gipson, Murfreesboro, Donnie Wayne (Vicki) Gipson, St. Louis, MO, Terry Gipson, Atlanta, GA, Nelson Gipson, Monteagle, Collis (Mary) Gipson, Winchester; 21 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Jim Patton officiating. Burial will be in Monteagle Cemetery. The family will receive friends 3-7 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.cumberlandfuneralhome.net.
