Arnold Theodore Morrison, age 88, of Tracy City, Tennessee, passed away August 10, 2022. He was born in Bryant’s Cove on September 19, 1933, to the late Mitchell and Elsie Nolan Morrison. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Arnold Eugene Morrison; a brother, Bonnal Morrison; and two sisters, Inez Russell and Bonnie Ripp.
Arnold loved to preach and work in his garden.
He is survived by his wife, Eda Morrison; daughter, Brenda Lee (Billy) Meadows; grandchildren, Bryan Meadows, Josh Morrison, and Elizabeth McDonald; adopted grandchild, Mitzi Morrison; eleven great grandchildren; a brother, Donald Morrison; two sisters, Ava Thomas and Eileen Adams; along with many nieces, nephews, and family friends.
The funeral service will be Saturday, August 13, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 2:00 PM with Bro. Franklin Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held at Cumberland Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 PM.
