My heartfelt condolences to the whole family during this time. You're all in my thoughts and prayers. Robert was a knowledgeable, kindhearted and good man. Everytime I visited, I remember he would be eager to show me something he was doing, painting, carving stones, a book he bound himself, and of course genealogy things he discovered. He loved talking about his grandkids, he would tell me about everything they're into, what they're doing. How tall they are from the markings on the wall, to raising his hand over his head indicating their height. He knew so much about so many things, we talked about alot the times we visited. He was great at holding a conversation, I always found his depth and bredth of knowledge and the topics interesting. I will surely miss him.
