Janice "E" Lorene Sherrill, age 68, of Sewanee, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital, Sewanee, Tennessee. She was born in Sewanee, Tennessee on June 28, 1954, to the late James William Sherrill and Cleo Dotson Sherrill. She is also preceded in death by her brother Clea Sherrill, sisters, Darla Sherrill, and Mary Sherrill Gipson. Out of everything in life Janice loved her family the most, especially spending time with her grandkids. She worked for over 30 years at Middle Tennessee Home Health, and in her spare time enjoyed working word puzzles, sudoku, and putting puzzles together. Left to cherish her memories are her daughter Amanda (Kevin) McClure; brother Galon (Cindy) Sherrill; sisters, Susie Henley, Tracie Sherrill, Brenda (Doug) Woodard and Cathy Sherrill; grandchildren, Alexis (Kris) Wilkerson, Dylan (Savannah) McClure, Harley McClure, and Jacob McClure; great grandchildren, Adley, and one on the way James Brooks. A Funeral service will be held on 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee. With Jason Fraker officiating, burial immediately Eastern Star Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday from 1:00- 3:00 P.M. at Cumberland Funeral Home, Monteagle, Tennessee.
