Juanita “Nan” Dyer Hargis, age 91, of Southgate MI, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She was born in Coalmont TN to the late James Sephus and Harley Scott Dyer on August 15, 1930 and she was the beloved wife of the late Ray Arnold Hargis.
She was the loving mother of Duane (Brenda) Hargis, Donna Hargis, and Darrell (Lynne) Hargis; the dearest grandmother of Brooke (Phillip) Scruggs, Matthew (Hannah) Hargis, Emily Hargis, Antonia Boni, Brandon Lancaster, Dustin (Nicole) Hargis, and David Hargis; she is also survived by many great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Coalmont Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 4 - 8 PM at Cumberland Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are greatly appreciated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
