Ms. Connie Butner Sargent age 63 of Manchester passed away on January 22, 2012 at United Regional Medical Center in Manchester, Tennessee. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ruby Walker Butner, her son Richy Caldwell, her sisters Aline Wilkinson, Doris Thomas Foshee, and Lynda Bennett; and her brothers Jim Ed, Doug, Sammy, Billy Frank, Donnie, and David Butner. Survivors include her daughters Tina and her husband Bill Sipe, and Paula Williams all of Manchester; sister Nell Bland of Kentucky; grand children Nikki and her husband Jimmy Anderson, Krystal Williams, Steven Sipe, Amanda and her husband Dustin Barrett; great-grandchildren Kaylin Barrett, Sawyer Barrett, Mallory Barrett, Ashlyn Hicks, Jacob Lee Anderson, and Lily Anderson
Funeral services will 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Marvin Brannan officiating. Burial will be in the Hillsboro Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 from 5 to 9 P.M. at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Cumberland Funeral Home, 207 Mabee Avenue, Monteagle, Tennessee.
