Obituary of Mickey Virgil Meeks

Mickey Virgil Meeks, age 54, of Nashville, TN passed away on May 10, 2022. He was born in Nashville, TN to Henry Benton and Melva Rogers Meeks on August 24, 1967. He is preceded in death by his father, Henry Benton Meeks and his ex-wife, Lori Baker Meeks. Mickey liked to work with his hands, build things, and listen to classic rock music. He enjoyed off-road riding with his big brother, playing cards, pool, poker, and traveling. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them, especially his mother and daughter. His dog Otzi was his best friend. He is survived by his mother, Melva Ruth Rogers Meeks; son, Tony Dean (Yolanda) Meeks; daughters, Ashley (Zef) Lucaj and Kimberly Meeks; brothers, Michael (Janie) Meeks, Billy (Lisa) Meeks, and Keith (Brenda) Van Hoosier; and grandchildren, James, Diamond, Icis, Robert, Hannah, Payzlie, and Tony Jr. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 15th, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home in Monteagle at 2:00 PM with Bro. Bobby Winton officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery in Pelham, TN. A visitation with the family will begin at 12:00 PM on Sunday until the time of service.
