Mrs. Wilma Fay Williams, age 84, of Tracy City TN, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Saint Thomas – Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro Tennessee after an extended illness. She was married to JW Williams on November 1, 1953 and who also preceded her in death on January 19, 2004. She was a seamstress throughout her life and retired from Colonial Manufacturing in 2001.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her sister, Betty Garner Ladd (John Henry); brother, Billy Garner; nephews, Willie Ladd, James “Duper” Ladd, and Donnie Harris; and niece, Linda Gilley.
She is survived by her beloved dog, Pebbles, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her loving friends, Larry and Drucilla Myers, Janice Smartt, Ivy Jo Parsons, Kim Ladd, and many other friends; and her special nieces and caregivers, Lillian Harris and Rhonda Harris.
The funeral service will be Friday, May 6, 2022, at Cumberland Funeral Home – Foster and Lay Chapel in Tracy City at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ralph Shrum officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday till the time of service.
