Mr. Alfred Leemon Layne, age 93, of Tracy City TN, passed away at his home on May 3, 2022. He was born August 21, 1928 to John & Myrtle Dykes Layne who preceded him in death along with his children; sons, Darrell and Johnny Layne and daughter, Darla Layne Christian; and grandson, Jeraime Layne.
Mr. Layne is survived by his wife of 71 years, Betty Jean Layne; children, Ricky (Stephanie) Layne and Gwen (Don) Smith; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Myers Hill Congregational Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Bro. Dennis Rollins officiating. Burial will follow at Plainview Cemetery. A visitation with the family will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 4 - 9 P.M. at Myers Hill Congregational Methodist Church.
